DIMA HASAO AUTONOMOUS TERRITORIAL COUNCIL (DHATC) PACKAGE

A Memorandum of Settlement (MoS) was signed between Government of India, Government of Assam and Dima Halam Daogah (DHD) on 08.10.2012.

As per the MoS, Government of India agreed to provide a Special Economic Package of Rs. 200 crore (Rs. 40 crore per annum) to Dima Hasao Autonomous Territorial Council (DHATC) for 5 years over and above Plan fund through Government of Assam to undertake special projects proposed by the Council.

So far 12 Projects with an approved cost of Rs 17526.66 Lakhs have been sanctioned by MoDoNER(GoI) and another 3 Projects with Cost Rs.2500 Lakhs yet to be sanctioned.

An amount of Rs.11296.19 Lakhs has been released by Govt. of India till date against these 12 projects.
